    4 Turningthe TV and the Transmitter unit on

    1 Turn the power of the TV on.Set Control fo r HOMI in the Settings menuof the TV On.Then select the HOMI input that the receiverunit is connected to.

    4 Verify the Wireless LINK LEVEL.The LINK LEVEL LEOs located on the frontof the transmitter unit allows you to verifythe Wireless LINK LEVEL between thetransmitter and the receiver units.

    When the units are establishing a link, theLINK LEVEL LED blinks.After the wireless connection is established,the LED stops blinking.To ensure good picture quality, makesure that all three LEOs light up in green,indicating a good link.Recommended placement of the receiverand transmitter units is within 65 feet (20 m)of each other. If you experience problemswith the LINK LEVEL, removing obstructionsfrom the path between the units may improvethe LINK LEVEL.If the Wireless LINK LEVEL is less than threeor the picture is noisy or the sound qualityis diminished, press CONNECT to switch toanother wireless channel.If you experience problems finding a suitableLINK LEVEL, see the Troubleshootingsection in the Reference Guide for moreinformation.

    Optimal environment for placementof the unitsFollow the suggestions below to create anoptimal environment for your Wireless Link.Proper placement of the receiver and transmitterunits will ensure a strong Wireless LINK LEVELfor superior performance. Use one system per room, placing thetransmitter and receiver units for each systemin the same room. If you use a 5 GHz WLAN or cordless phone,place those in a different room. Do not place either unit on a metall ic rack.

    Place the transmitter unit as high up aspossible. Maximum operating distance is approximately65 feet (20 m), depending on the environment. Be sure to keep at least 1 foot (30 em)minimum distance between the transmitter andreceiver units.

    If the Wireless LINK LEVEL is low, the receiverunit can also be attached on the top right side ofthe rear TV panel which may provide betterreception. In this case, attach the receiver unit byrotating 180 degrees.Remove the receiver unit from the TV Mountingbracket on the rear TV panel, remove the TVMounting bracketJPlastic Fasteners using aPhillips Screwdriver, remove the screws holdingthe adapter and rotate 180 degrees, then secure thescrews again, attach the TV Mounting bracket andthe receiver unit.
