- Read through all of the instructions before beginning.- All of the seam allowances are 1/4” unless otherwise noted.- Press seam allowances open unless otherwise noted. - Width of fabric (WOF) is equal to at least 42” wide.- Right sides together has been abbreviated to RST.- Remember to measure twice and cut once!

From Fabric A, cut:four of Template 1three 2-1/2” x WOF strips for the binding
From Fabric B, cut:four of Template 1
From Fabric C, cut:twelve of Template 1
From Fabric D, cut:eight of Template 1
From Fabric E, cut:four of Template 1
From Fabric F, cut:twenty of Template 1
From Fabric G, cut:twelve of Template 1
From Fabric H, cut:eight of Template 1 From Fabric I, cut:two 7-7/8” squares. Cut each in half once along a diagonal.
Cutting Instructions

Step 1: Sew a Fabric C triangle to either side of a Fabric E triangle along the longest edges, offsetting the points as shown. Press toward the C triangles. Sew a Fabric B triangle to the remaining edge of the E triangle. Press toward the B triangle.
Assemble the A Blocks
Step 2: Sew a Fabric H triangle to either side of a Fabric F triangle along the longest edges, offsetting the points as shown. Press toward the F triangle. Sew a Fabric F triangle to the remaining long edges of the Fabric H triangles, offsetting the points as shown. Press toward the F triangles.
Step 3: Sew the complete Step 1 unit to the completed Step 2 unit. Press the seam toward the Fabric B point.
Repeat to make a total of four A Blocks.

Step 4: Sew a Fabric D triangle to either side of a Fabric C triangle along the longest edges, offsetting the points as shown. Press toward the D triangles. Sew a Fabric A triangle to the remaining edge of the C triangle. Press toward the C triangle.
Assemble the B Blocks
Step 5: Sew a Fabric F triangle to either side of a Fabric G triangle along the longest edges, offsetting the points as shown. Press toward the G triangle. Sew a Fabric G triangle to the remaining long edges of the Fabric F triangles, offsetting the points as shown. Press toward the G triangles.
Step 6: Sew the complete Step 4 unit to the completed Step 5 unit. Press the seam toward the Fabric G/F row.
Repeat to make a total of four B Blocks.

Step 7: Sew an A Block to the left edge of a B Block. Press the seam toward the A Block. Repeat to make four pairs of A/B Blocks.
Assemble the Quilt
Step 8: Sew two A/B Block pairs together, as shown. Press the seam toward the A Block. Repeat to make a second unit like this.

Print at 100%.
Templates

Step 9: Sew the two halves together to form an octagon. Press the seam open.
Step 10: Sew a Fabric I triangle to the remaining edges of each B Block. Press the seam toward the Fabric I triangle.
Step 11: Trim the mini quilt top to 24-1/2” square, if necessary.
Your quilt top is complete! Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
