Safety Rules• Do not play near the roads!!• Listen for snow plow trucks coming. Move

towards your house!

• Stay away from the snow blower!!

Safety Rules• Never EVER play near ponds, lakes, water.

Sledding Safety Rules

• Always wear a ski helmet or hockey helmet• Try to always sit up or kneel while sledding, never lay on

your belly! (Lying down increases the risk of head, spine and abdominal injuries)

• Never sled near or into roads!• Always check for trees, stumps, roots, rocks, or other

obstacles.

Snowballs• Children should NOT throw snowballs. Snowball

fights can lead to injuries, especially to the eyes. Snowballs are more dangerous if the snow is hard-packed or contains a rock or some other hard object.

Don’t stick tongue on cold metal!

Drink some hot chocolate!!Dry your hat, gloves, boots etc.
