At the end of the session users will be able to: -
• Create a standard Turnitin assignment in MOLE
• Utilise the “more options” pane to tailor the assignment
• Utilise a QuickMark set to provide feedback to students
• Utilise general comments and audio to provide feedback to students
• Grade a Turnitin submission using a Grading form
What is Turnitin?
1. Turnitin is a software programme recently acquired (June 2014) by Insight Venture Partners
2. Turnitin is a text matching and electronic assessment tool licensed for use by the University since 2008
3. Most University departments use Turnitin through MOLE
4. Turnitins’ text matching service trawls billions of web pages, online journals, articles and publications
