The NCF Collaborative

The Winter Park Neighborhood Center for

Families’ (NCF) structure and format is

tailored to address the needs of the Winter

Park Community. The collaborative

partners work together as a team to ensure

that services are provided quickly and

appropriate to the needs of families and

children, in a “one stop” setting. The

frontline staff is committed to implementing

and delivering joint services based on the

family support model, with the hopes of

increasing family stability and encouraging

healthy family functioning.

Center for Drug-Free Living

Counseling Services

F.O.C.U.S (Family Opportunities for

Caring Understanding and Success)

is an empowerment program working with

children and their families to assist in

developing opportunities for an

atmosphere of caring and understanding in

an effort to provide the tools for the success

of the family. Counselors facilitate crisis

intervention, parent/family education,

information & referral, family counseling,

group counseling, and individual

counseling.

Mission Statement

The Winter Park Neighborhood Center for

Families provides comprehensive,

integrated services to support the health

and well-being of children and families in

the Winter Park Community.

What is the NCF

The Winter Park Neighborhood Center for

Families (NCF) is a collaborative

organizational entity with its own

mission, values and culture. It is

comprised of several service providers

that are dedicated to providing community

based services. The NCF works with the

community to address the needs of the

community.

Case Management Services

Case Management services links clients with the

appropriate providers and resources throughout the

community. Resources will be provided based on

the results of a careful assessment of the clients’

emotional and social needs.

Goodwill Industries, Inc.

Employment Services

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Inc.,

provides an Employment Specialist to assist

residents in obtaining and maintaining

employment. Assistance is provided through job

club classes, resume development, job search and

direct service referrals. Services are also offered

to individuals who are under employed or need

help in obtaining a better job. Referrals to other

community resources are provided.
