The solar eclipse on January 15 heralds the Grand Kumbha Mela inHaridwar. Jupiter enters Aquarius and joins with the Sun entering Aries onMarch 15th during the new moon, when a extraordinary event happens. It is'Amavasi', a ceremony said to cleanse all of spiritual, emotional, mental andphysical blockage to allow the unfolding of the True One to emerge.Enlightened Ones, Holy Saints & those seeking to heal themselves and theplanet will gather at this time to pray in the holy waters of the Mother GangesRiver. This will be the last 'Amavasi' before 2012. This is the most auspicioustime of the Mela noted by numerous astrologist and spiritual teachers for

cleansing of all outdated ways. It is said that anyone sincerely seeking Truthcan be liberated at this time. Tales of the Kumbha go back to theMahabharata epic back in 400 AD and originated long before that. Every 12years pilgrims have been coming to Haridwar Mela ( gathering) to pray anddip in the holy Ganges where the Hindu scriptures say the elixer ofimmortality, Amrit, was spilled from the spiritual pot (Kumbh). It is said that adip in the Ganges at this time cleanses away all illusions and lifts the veil totrue freedom.

We are truly blessed that the head of the Nirajani Achara, our belovedSwami Paramanand Maharaj, has made it possible for us to experience thisincredible gathering. Under his grace we are being provided a safe and

Be happy. Laugh inawareness. Rejoice in your laughter. Dont ba beggar for Bliss. You are Bliss. Farm angrow Bliss. There's no reason to be miserlywith your joy. Be mad in this bliss. It is youbirthright.

Consciousness is everywhere, but when itassociates with intellect, it gains focus ...experience. Just as focusing the rays of the suncreates fire, focusing consciousness creates life,it creates individuality. How you use thisexperience is up to you. You are wise to use thislife to discover your Self and find True Bliss.

A perishable long life is a short life, even if itis 1,000 years. In this way life is very short. Sohappiness that ends is also short. SelfKnowledge and happiness that is not perishableis the great attainment. I would like to tell youof the hidden inner Bliss that we discover as wemove back into our Source just as water comes

out when we dig a well.
