The John F. Kennedy High School Music Department Presents
Winter Concert I

Walter Avellaneda, Director of Bands Jeanette Pincus, Choral Director
Robert Salzer, Director of Orchestras Kristin Samadi, Accompanist
To Our Audience…
Thank you for attending our performance this evening. We hope that you enjoy tonight’s concert as much as we enjoy performing for you.
In today’s world, there are many types of activities in which students participate. What may be considered appropriate at some events may not be appropriate at a concert. Please take these suggestions in the spirit that they are given, as they will increase everyone’s enjoyment
of the concert.
- Please refrain from talking and opening candy wrappers or gum during the performance: it is distracting to us and others in the
audience.
- Please do not leave the auditorium during the performance of a musical selection.
- Please do not whistle or call out during a musical selection; it is
difficult to maintain our concentration under those conditions.
- Please turn cell phones off or set to vibrate. - Please remain for the entire concert. Those of us who are performing last have worked just as hard as everyone else, and we too would like to perform to a full house.
We have all put a lot of effort into giving the finest performance we are capable of giving, and we would appreciate your cooperation in
observing this concert etiquette.
Thanks again. This performance would not have been possible without you.
