Te record time on our sledging track on Hochwurzen mountain?

Hoh, not so fast... most importantly, were not averse to dallying

and enjoying the scenery on the hike up (or from the gondola),

and always like to make a stop along the way down especially

when sledging at night. Te longer it lasts, the better! And sledging

is only one of the great ideas that distract even die-hard skiers

from the slopes. o experience a true winter fairy tale away from

the slopes, you could also consider a romantic hike or a ride in a

horse-drawn sleigh of course, with a stop at an Alpine lodge for

refreshments. At the skating rink, on a snowshoe trek, on a guided

uphill ski trek. Or on the cross-country trails: Just a few minutes

away you can enter the world-cup tested cross-country paradise of

Ramsau.

lowlands are already basking in sunshine... Nobody needs to tell us

twice: Put on the thinner sweater, grab the higher-SPF lotion, and...

bloom! On the slopes and in the sun lounge chairs sprouting

up at every ski lodge. And of course at the after-ski party! Indeed,

when winter meets spring, theres no holding back. And speaking

of which: in 2011, Easter is coming later at the end of April! Tat

means that when spring has fully arrived, the lifts on Hochwur-

zen mountain will still be running. However, Schwaigerhof will be

closed starting the 3rd April 2011 for renovation!
