Tips For Winter Skin!
In the winter our skin can take a beating from the dry windy
air. Once a week try a gentle exfoliator and then follow with
moisturier while the skin is still damp. Also, drink lots of
water to stay hydrated.
When cleansing the skin try using cramy cleanser which
won;t strip the skin much. Also, be careful not to use
cleansers with alcohol as they can strip the skin leaving
it dry.
Get in the habit of wearing an SPF even during the winter
months. Especially if you live where it snows.
Help reduce redness from the cold and wind by using a
green-tinted moisturizer for redness all over. For smaller
areas, just apply a color correcting concealer to help cover
up the area. Look for moisturizers that are calming to the
skin and helps nourish it.
Winter months can cause flacky, dry skin. Try applying a
hydrating mask or rich night cream before going to bed.
This will help to soften the skin overnight.
Keep your pout perfect by applying a tinted lip balm that
contains sunscreen. If your lips are i pretty good shape try
wearing a moisturizing ipstick. Avoid wearing matte
or long wearing formulas as the can be drying. If you do
make sure you take it off when you get home and moisturize
your lips before bed.
Invest in a humidifier if your heating sysytem doesn’t have
one built in. Place a samleler one in the dedroom to add extra
moisture in the air. Keep it set at 30-50% during the winter
months.
“I was a little girl, around the age of 12, stealing my older brother’s tapes of Richard Pryor”, Carla stated. She was asked, “When was the moment she fell in love with comedy? Local comedienne, Carla Youngblood, is the type of person that meets no stranger. Always wearing a beautiful smile and well-coordinated ensemble; it is hard to believe Youngblood did not always pursue a career behind the mic, Youngblood has over 25 years of experience in corporate America as a Certified Public Accountant. Who knew accountants could be so funny? When asked, “How does a REALTOR get her lucky break in the entertainment industry? Youngblood responded by saying: “While working as a REALTOR, there was a “Realtor’s Got Talent Fundraiser” It was held at the Stardome Comedy Club on July 2011. I said to myself, “This is my chance to get on a real stage at a true comedy club and try it.” The crowd gave me a raving response and some asked how many years had I been performing as a comedian? Many others encouraged me to continue, so here I am”, said Youngblood. With and impressive array of gigs in cities such as Chattanooga, Nashville, Atlanta and Los Vegas, we look forward to seeing Carla continue to rise to the top. Find Cash in 30 Days or Less One of the things I often hear from entrepreneurs is “Cash is tight. I don’t know if I will be able to pay my employees or not.” Let’s face it, companies do not get into a cash crunch overnight. It is hard to quickly ind cash, but it is possible if you know where to look. Here are a few places to look to help improve cash low within the next 30 days. Clients • Do you have uninished projects or projects
that haven’t been invoiced? The sooner a project is inished, the sooner you can issue the invoice, and get paid.
• Aggressively collect accounts receivable. The squeaky wheel gets paid irst.
• Educate your clients on the other services you offer.
• Ask for referrals from your top clients.
Suppliers & Vendors • Review all contracts and search for ways to
renegotiate the terms. • Consolidate your suppliers so you can
negotiate better terms and pricing. • Slash the price of old inventory and sell it to
free up cash today. Overhead Expenses • Sell assets you no longer use. • Review your expenses over the past six-
months and identify where you can cut back. Here’s a good question to ask yourself: “Are the dollars I’m spending helping me make money?”
• Sublease the extra space in your ofice you don’t use.
Employee Expenses • Offer a bonus to employees who provide
ideas to improve cash low. • Reduce overtime and unproductive time. • Stop loaning money to employees. You’re
not a bank!
This list includes quick ixes and not a cure for your cash low problems. It’s important to search for the root cause of your money problems, so you can prevent this issue in the future. Don’t ignore what you uncover! It will not go away on its own. Write it down and create a plan to ix it. Tina White, CPA is the owner of Panoramic Business Solutions. The Holidays are over and wedding season is right around the corner. A special female in your life got engaged and popped the question “Will you be my Maid or Matron of Honor?” Now you have to duty of planning the bride to be an awesome Bridal Shower! KMAEvent Planning is going to give you 5 tips to help you get started to hosting a Bridal Shower the Bride to be will remember for a lifetime! 1. Pick a Theme- After you pick a theme you can organize everything else. There are so many different bridal shower themes and you should pick one that fits the bride’s personality. If she loves cooking you can make the theme a cooking shower. You can even invite a Pampered Chef consultant to the shower. 2. Pick colors- A signature color for your event is the perfect element to tie it all together. 3. Plan a menu- The menu should reflect the theme of the event. Nuts, cakes and treats work best. 4. Invitation – You want the invitation to set the tone for the event. 5. Details- Always remember any event you plan is all about the details. Guest will remember how the small details pulled the entire event together. I recommend Décor to Adore
