Getting Readyfor 21-22 School Year
Life is Great at WPK8
DearWPK-8 Parents and Guardians:
The summer is almost here! Summer is an opportunity to relax, sit back, and enjoy fun in the sun. However, we wantto make sure you have the tools you need to help your child retain everything they have learned throughoutthe school year. Numerous studies have shown that reading over the summer prevents "summer reading loss". This loss is cumulative. Children do not catch up in the fall because the other children are moving ahead with their skills. This year Summer Resource packets will be available at WPK8.org. Please see list below of what is available this summer to keep our Wildcats sharp! Some activities even give the opportunity to win a prize!
The packet includes:
• Supply lists for Grades PreK-5 • 1-Ready Lessons and Summer logs for K-8 • MyOn Summer Competition PK-8 and customer support information • Reflex Math Competition 1-8. • elearn ing Toolbox accessed via the student portal.
We hope you have a wonderful summer!
