• This fictional bear appeared in A.A. Milnes book Winnie-the-Pooh in 1926. Then there was The House at Pooh Corner (1928).

• And in 1930Stephen Slesinger bought US and Canadian merchandising, TV, recording and other trade rights to the Milnes "Winnie-the-Pooh. He and his company decided to create the first Pooh doll, board game, record, puzzle, US radio broadcast, animation and motion picture film.

6. In 1961 afterSlesingers death his wife gave rights to produce articles of merchandise based on characters from its feature animation toWalt Disney Productions. In the same year Disney acquired certain rights (including motion picture rights ) from Daphne Milne. 7.

In the cartoon Winnie has lots of friends. And they all live in a fairy-tale forest.
