Our Mission: To make new disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformaon

of the world!

New Beginnings

As I reflect back over our 6 years of ministry together many “ New Beginnings”come to mind.  I think of “40 Days of Purpose”.  I think of the summer of 2008 when werelocated our worship services to the Family Life Center in order to utilize the air condition-ing.  I think of the early months of our simultaneous worship services and all that thatentailed.  I think of “Life’s Healing Choices”, “Shining Stars” and a host of many other “ NewBeginnings”.  As I reflect on each and every one of those I come to the same conclusion everytime…God has been good and God has been faithful.

As August 4th approaches this week we approach yet another “ New Beginning” aswe embark upon a 4 month trial period of a revised Sunday Morning Schedule.  God has

proven Himself faithful over and over and over again –  it’s in His nature, it’s who He is –  andI believe He’ll do it again.  Unfortunately that doesn’t let us off of the hook.  We still have todo our part.  I believe that to this point we have done all that we can do to prepare for nextweek –   but there is at the same time more to be done.  In the next week and even beyond

please keep the following in mind:

1.  Please connue in prayer for the transion that is ahead.  Pray for your lead-

ers. Pray for all the behind the scenes people who work hard in the many details of

worship.  Pray that God’s Spirit would continue to work in our lives as we draw near to God.  Pray that we would all be patient and extra gracious during this time of tran-sition.  And pray about who you can invite –  and then…

2.  Invite them.  One of the many blessings of our revised scheduled is that it freesup parking and seating so we have plenty of room for others who need Jesus as muchas we do.  Who can you invite?

In Christ,

Pastor Tal

Coming in September:

AlphaAlpha is a 10 week opportunity for fellowship, learning and fun.  It’s a chance to hear many of the commonquestions about our faith explored in a casual, non-threatening gathering.  Alpha will meet on Sunday eve-nings from 6:00-8:30 PM, beginning with an “Introduction to ALPHA” dinner held on Sunday, September 8th.  Each evening will include a meal, a video presentation and some small group conversation around thetable.  Childcare is available upon request. Watch for more details!

Disciple Bible Study

Disciple is a 34 week in depth overview of the Bible.  Each week includes an extended class time together as agroup as well as daily Bible readings.  Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will be facilitated by Vicki Lewis.  Disciple will begin on September 4th and will run through mid-May.

Financial Peace University

Although our next Financial Peace Class is not scheduled to begin until January of next year we have several people who would like to see a FPU Class this Fall on Wednesday evenings.  If you would be interested in participating in a class this fall please contact the Ministry Office ASAP.

The Community Prayer Room

A community prayer room (CPR) has opened in Warren and we are asking for volunteers to helpstaff it. We estimate that it will take 200-300 volunteers to provide 24/7 coverage with two prayer

leaders present at all times. We cannot overemphasize how important this prayer leader recruitmentphase of the CPR is. We have a room designated for prayer, but it waits on committed prayer lead-

ers to make it a PRAYER ROOM where God will accomplish great things!

If any of our Wildare Family is interested in finding out more about CPR, call the ministry office for

contact information!
