WINES FROM SICILY

Concilio entered a long term contract with

growers and a winery in Sicily to enable the

company to produce premium wines from some

of the best regions of Italy.

Concilio made agreements with specially

selected vineyards in the Val del Belice, Salemi

and Vita regions of western Sicily, Riesi and

Racalmuto in the central Sicily from which to

acquire quality grapes.

To ensure production efficiencies and total

control of production, Concilio employs on site

agronomists & winemakers. They manage the

first production phases of the white wines

(grape crushing and temperature stabilization of

the must) and up to the fermentation of the red

wines. They operate under the supervision of

the head winemaker of the company.

The must for the white wines and the red wines

are then brought in refrigerated tanks to our

state of the art facilities in Trentino for

fermentation of the white wines and aging of

the red ones.

Bottling and shipping is made by Concilio from

its headquarter located in Volano, south of

Trento. Concilio has a yearly production of

700,000 cases.

The reason for this elaborate procedure is,

again, greater production efficiencies and total

control over the quality of production. The

entire process is under the complete control of

Concilio who has been making wine for over
