A student will receive a $1000 examinations scholarship if he or she: fulfills the BC graduation requirements achieves at least a “B” (73%) final mark in English 12 or Communications 12

(provincial exam and school mark combined) ranks among the top 5000 grade 12 students in BC (based on percentage

scores) on all 5 provincial exams A student will receive a $2500 examinations scholarship if he or she:

meets all the qualifications for the Graduation Program Examinations Scholarship

OPTION 1 Register in the course: WEX 12 A and 12 B 100 hours WEX plus course work 4 credits each

OPTION 2 In the summer they work in a job that is in their focus area and work 100 or more hours. Join WEX in September and do the course work. 4 credits

Secondary School Apprenticeship (SSA)

career program that provides students with the opportunity to begin their apprenticeship training while attending high school.

The student must be 15 years old and working in or would like to work in an app- renticable trade

Post-Secondary Admissions with DL Courses

The completion deadline for DL courses used for admissions to post-secondary varies from post-secondary institution to post-secondary institution

Example: UBC requires all DL courses to be 100% complete by February 1 of a student’s grade 12 year to be included in their competitive admissions average
