All Programs:Run a program.

My Recent Documents:Open files which are recently used.

Printer and Faxes:Install or select a printer.

Search:Look up a file.

Run: Run a program using command line.

Shut Down: Exit Windows and turn off the computer.

• Using Icons– Different desktop icons have different meanings

and functions.– represent a file, a folder or a program– If we double-click an icon, we can open a data

file, a folder or execute a program.

My Network Places:To view the computer networks that are linked to this computer.
