Introduction This matrix represents the combinations of platforms, operating systems, and third party products that have been tested and verified by PTC. These recommended product combinations are based on compatibility, testing, performance, and reliability. Other software combinations not shown here may perform properly, but are not qualified through PTC’s testing and validation process. This matrix is a combined matrix for all 9.0 Windchill solutions with the following exceptions. The CAD Integrations and ProductView information has been removed and reorganized into the Windchill CAD Integrations and ProductView Adapters/ProductView Client Software Matrix. PartsLink Catalog is not tested or supported on the AIX 5.3 platform. Some options are not available with the initial release of Windchill 9.0. If sites experience error messages similar to 'Internet Explorer cannot download a file', they may need to apply the patch from Microsoft. It is up to our customers to verify later versions before fully implementing in production. If not, you may need to revert to a certified client browser version.

Indicated that WebSphere MQ 6 is supported and added footnote 3 to the Integration Products Interoperability section. Windows Vista clients are now supported. Information added to that column along with corresponding footnotes in the client sections. Cognos 8.2 supports IE 7.0. Modified footnotes 7 and 8 in the Client Platform Support section. Acrobat 8 is now supported on all Windows clients for the Document Collaboration Option. That information has been added to the Windchill Client Components table along with the corresponding footnote. Corrections to the M010 matrix. Added footnote 11 to the Windchill Client Components table to indicate that PTC Desktop and Office Integration is supported on 32-bit only. Updated version information in the Enterprise Systems Integration table and deleted footnote #2 as the new versions of TIBCO contain the DST patch. Also deleted footnote #1 as TIBCO now supports Solaris 10. In the Post-FCS Testing and Support Plans section, deleted AIX as a client to be supported in the future of this release stream. Also removed references to the CAD integrations (CATIA V4, CADDS 5, and Optegra Gateway) as they will not be supported in this release stream. Added AutoCAD 2008 and UG NX5 as to be supported at the second maintenance release.
