WARNING This cab is designed to provide foul weather protection only. It does not provide protection from noise, exhaust fumes, chemicals or injury from collision, or other accidents. 1. Do not operate machine in confined areas without proper ventilation. 2. Thoroughly check area of operation before using machine. 3. Keep windows clean for good visibility. 4. When unzipped, keep the windows rolled up and secured with the straps provided during operation

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Periodically check all bolts to see that they are tight. If bolts become loose, failure of cab parts may occur.

DO NOT CLEAN THE CLEAR PLASTIC WINDOWS WHEN THE PLASTIC IS DRY.

THE CLEAR PLASTIC WILL SCRATCH.

Avoid contact with plastic windows. Keep plastic windows clean by washing them with clear running water and rubbing with your bare hands, only. The use of a rag, sponge or brush will scratch the plastic. Liquid soap may also be used for window cleaning. During freezing weather, an automotive windshield washer solvent may be used. Use liquid soap and water to clean colored vinyl portions. Scrubbing with a brush or rag is also permitted on the colored vinyl portions

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS Prior to storage clean the windows and colored vinyl parts with a mild automotive detergent, rinse with clean water and allow to thoroughly dry, Store cab in a clean dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid folding plastic windshield & rear window.

INSTALLATION

READ THIS MANUAL COMPLETELY BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION.

• Do not tighten bolts during assembly unless instructed to do so. • Park machine on level ground, lower attachments to ground, remove start key.

• It is helpful to have two people set the vinyl panels in position.

• The words “bolt” will refer to a 1/4”x5/8” bolt and “nut”’ will refer to a 1/4” locknut except where specified otherwise.

Step 1; See Figure 1: Install the right and left Front Posts (1 & 2) and Lower Cross Bar (4), (Long).

A. Place the right Front Post in position as shown. Insert a 5/16” x 3/4” bolt inwards through the holes in the step plate. Add a 5/16” lock nut. Do not tighten. B. Insert a 5/16” x 2 3/4” bolt through one end of the Lower Cross Bar. Place a “U” Clamp over the roll bar tube and insert the bolt through the clamp and into the Front Post. Add a 5/16” lock nut. Do not tighten. C. Repeat the above steps on the left side with the left Front Post and another “U” Clamp. Tighten all bolts. Step 2; See Figure 2A & 2B: Install the Upper Cross Bar (5) (short) and the Door Latch Strikers. A. Place a “U” Clamp over the roll bar tube 6 3/4” above the lower Cross Bar and insert a 5/16” x 2 1/2” bolt rearward through the holes. Place a Door Latch Striker over the bolt and add a 5/16” lock nut. Tighten just enough to keep it in place. Figure 1

B. Place a “U” Clamp over the roll bar tube 24 1/2” above the Lower Cross Bar. Insert a 5/16” x 2 1/2” bolt through one end of the Upper Cross Bar then insert the bolt through the clamp. Add a 5/16” lock nut. Do not tighten. C. Repeat the above steps on the other side.

Step 3; See Figure 3: Install Door Hinges and Hinge Bracket (6) A. Place a 1/4” flat washer on two 1/4” x 2 1/2” bolts. Insert them into the slots in the Door Hinges. B. Place two “U” Clamps over the roll bar tube as shown. Insert the bolts through the clamps and then the Hinge Bracket. Add locknuts and tighten just enough to hold the parts in place. Step 4; See Figure 4: Install Gas Flap Bracket (7) A. Place the Bracket into position. Insert a 5/16” x 3/4” bolt down through the bracket and floorboard. Add a lock 5/16” nut and tighten.

NOTE: The lower end of the Hinge Bracket rests on the plate that the tube is welded to.

Step 5; See Figure 5A, 5B & 5C: Install the Rear Curtain (14) A. Open the Velcro®

tabs and place the Rear Curtain in position. Center the Rear Curtain by making sure that an equal amount of material will wrap around the tubes on each side. Start at one of the upper corners. Wrap and secure one flap. Secure the other upper corner. Secure the other flaps along the length of the tube. B. On the lower right side hook the springs attached to the flap under the rear edge of the floorboard. C. Place the gas flap over the filler and gauge then hook the springs as shown.

Step 6; See Figure 6A, 6B & 6C: Install Windshield (13)

A. Lay the Windshield face down on a clean smooth surface. Open the Velcro®

tabs. Place a length of adhesive weather strip along the inside edge of the Windshield as shown between arrows. B. Open the hood on the machine. Place the Windshield in position with the top edge of the windshield just covering the top Cross Bar. Center the Windshield by making sure that an equal amount of a material will wrap around the tubes on each side. Secure the flaps along the length of the tube. Tuck the bottom edge of the windshield between the dash and the hood. C. Wrap the lower flaps around the Front Posts and secure the Velcro® . D. Run the straps attached at the bottom under the dash and ABOVE the steering shaft. Fasten the buckle and pull the straps snug. Figure 6A

Step 7; See Figure 7A, 7B & 7C: Install Top (15)

A. Lay the Top upside down on a clean smooth surface. Open the Velcro®

tabs. Place a length of adhesive weather strip about 1/2” inside of the edge of the Top as shown between arrows. B. Place the Top in position. Center the Top by making sure that an equal amount of material will wrap around the tubes on each side. Fasten the Top to the top of the windshield & pull the top back and fasten it to the Rear Curtain. Secure the flaps along the length of the tube.

Step 8; See Figure 8A, 8B & 8C: Assemble and install the Doors.

A. Insert the top of the hinge rod into the top hinge. Lower the Door down into the bottom hinge. Cut a 51” piece of Rubber Door Seal. Install it between the arrows using a mallet to gently tap the seal onto the edge of the door. B. Make small cuts in the vinyl to correspond with the slots in the doorframe for latch screw insertion. Place a Door Latch into the cut out as shown. Use two #10-32 x 5/8” screws & kep nuts on the slots in top two holes to fasten Door Latch to the Door. Do not tighten at this time. C. Place the door bottom in position as shown and insert two #10-32 x 5/8” screws inward through the holes in the Latch and Door Bottom. Add Kep nuts. Do not tighten at this time. Use two nuts and bolts to attach the other end of the Door Bottom Frame to the door. Close the Velcro®

flaps around the rod. Secure the rear edge of the door to the Rear Curtain by pressing the Velcro®

strips together. Figure 8A

D. Repeat the above steps on the other side. E. Close the doors and adjust the Door Latches and Strikers so that the door will close and latch properly. Loosen hinge bolts and adjust if necessary. Tighten all bolts that were left loose during assembly.

NOTE: To dump bed manually, open the Velcro® at the lower rear edge of the left door to operate the dump latch lever.

NOTE: Use the Velcro® strips to roll down and secure the unzipped door windows.

During the warranty period, the dealer from whom the product was bought, or the Company, will provide, free of charge, parts and the shipping costs of parts necessary to correct any defect in workmanship and material.

WARRANTY PERIOD The company products listed below are warranted for the stated period from the date of the original purchase: 1. Cabs for tractors and snow removal equipment 1 Year 2. Company manufactured accessories for above cabs 1 Year 3. Sunshades for lawn and garden tractors 1 Year 4. Repair parts 1 Year OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES The owner of a new Company manufactured product must do the following to qualify for warranty service:

1. Retain the original invoice or other proof of purchase to avoid unnecessary difficulties in determining eligibility for warranty work. 2. Notify the dealer from whom the product was bought, or the company, as soon as possible after discovery of a possible defect, and provide proof of original purchase. To notify the company write to: Original Tractor Cab Co., Inc., P.O. Box 97, Arlington, IN 46104. 3.the owner may, upon notification by the Company, be required to return the defective part, or parts, to the Company for inspection and warranty service.

NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY The following are not covered by this warranty:

1. Transportation charges to and from servicing dealer or the Company; 2. New products that have been subject to misuse, negligence or accident, or have been altered or repaired in a manner not authorized by the company; 3. Windshield wipers, lights, or accessories that are warranted separately by their respective manufacturers, except Company agrees to make available to the owner whatever warranty benefits may be made available to the Company by the manufacturers. All implied warranties, except to the extent prohibited by any applicable law, shall have no greater duration than the warranty period for the applicable product, some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
