• NJ has one of most aggressive incentives for renewable energy in U.S.
NJ ANEMOMETER LOAN PROGRAM GOALS• Increase awareness and
understandability of renewable energy potential
• Purchase, test, & install 30-meter mast outfitted with anemometers throughout southern NJ
• Free wind analysis for 1 year to estimate wind turbine paybacks for customers
NRG TILT-UP MASTS CHARACTERISTICS• Steel tube with flared
sections
• Guy lines in four
directions maintain
stability
• No land disturbance
• Commercial product
• Similar masts are
currently being used
in Elmer and Salem, NJ
NRG TILT-UP MAST SPECIFICATIONS

NRG TILT UP MAST INSTALLATION• Mast is tilted up from ground w/ gin
pole and a small winch
• Lifting of tower is done with set of guy wires attached to gin pole
• Baseplate is hinged: gin pole and tower can pivot to erect mast
• Masts are stabilized with guy wires attached to screw – in anchors suitable for many soils
