The Fenner Wind Project is located on 1500 acres of mostly active farmland in the town of Fenner (Madison County, NY). Sited on a ridge, the tall towers are plainly visible, looking south from the Canastota Rest Area of the New York State Thruway, about 25 miles east of Syracuse. The project was developed by Atlantic Renewable Energy Corporation in conjunction with CHI Energy the owner and operator of the project.
