Please email [email protected] saying what is required, and the size of the child, and we will help wherever possible. Please note that this is not run by the school office, and you may not get an immediate reply to emails. Equally, if you have any outgrown uniform to donate, we would be very grateful. Robotics Club for Year 6
10 budding engineers started at the Robotics Club, held on a Tuesday in the Art Studio. They learnt how robots work, how they can “see” and how they are programmed. They designed differ-ent grids for the robot to follow and then, in groups, designed and tested a big maze for the robot to solve. Best of all, it all worked! Each en-gineer received a folder containing all their work and received a certificate from the Deputy Head, Mrs. Daniel. Everyone had a good time!

up.
Ancient Egyptians for Year 3
Year 3 had an Egyptian day on
Wednesday 5th October. They all
dressed up as Ancient Egyptians or Egyptologists and were greet-
ed by Steve and Sally from Portals to the Past. They car-ried out various workshops including measuring people's
heights using Royal Cubits and a quiz where the children had to collect the information from information
boards. In the afternoon, a big show was held which
included killing a Pharoah, mummifying and having a fu-neral procession. It was an excellent day: everyone had
fun and learnt a lot.
