Who is Wouter Willems? A profile (1)“A guy from Rotterdam-Holland, born and raised in the city where shirts are sold with the sleeves up in order to show the working attitude, that is me.I studied Business Economics (Master level) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in the 70’s.

Professionaly in 1979 I started in the field of Education as a teacher in retail management (mid-level) and later MaritimeBusiness Economics at the Polytechnical Faculty in Rotterdam. I proceeded as an Executive Assistant in a merger of 23 schools and later as an executive, CFO of a group of schools.

After that, in 1992, I made the change to Flower Auction Flora, acknowledged all over the world as the biggest auction of the world, with thousands of employees and a turnover around 4 billion euro. I started as Manager of Flora Import (importsof flowers from Africa, Middle East and Central and South America)- staff of 75, turnover 70 million euros, later as Sales Director of the Flower Auction – staff of 600, turnover 325 million euro’s. In 1999 I changed to CNB, market leader in flowerbulbs: purchasing and selling flower bulbs, perennials, trees, with several subsidiaries in real estate and trade. First as Sales Director, later as CEO and Chairman of the Board- staff of 120, turnover 300 million euros. Even during challenging andturbulent economic environments of crisis I managed to make profit! I always took responsibility, stepped up to the challenge and delivered.

In 2014 I decided to start a different venture as a business coach and interim manager and be able tu use my long managing experience in other business fields.

Who is Wouter Willems? A profile (2)In my career I was active in different working fields. In Commercial Management (new business and sales), Finance, HRM, Real-Estate and Public Relations/Communications. I managed several IT projects.

Due to my international business positions, I had exposure to many continents and countries. I am fluent in Dutch, English, German, while proficient in French and Spanish. My main strengths are:Commitment – you will have my full commitment in any project being big or small and in any business areaCreativity combined with a solution-oriented attitudeGreat listening skillsGreat adabtability skills – I am able to adapt to good and hostile environments with great ease
