Nina Wicker's haiku vividly depict thefarms, woods, animals, bodies of water, people and graveyards of North Carolina. These are haiku that objectively revealinsights into the natural world. Wicker'shaiku embody mystery and bear muchmusic. While celebrating life and what itmeans, her word choices are striking.
