Proposed structure of the wiki for e-swaraj

Categories of pages

– Introduction pages• Eswaraj introduction, rules n etiquettes, general policies of posting and editing information.

Info about the whole projects, the process of uploading and interacting, basically a rulebook for all the members!

– Guides pages• A place to create handbooks, pages n guides to empower people to file complaints, rti, start

cases, reforms etc.

– Corrupt Politicians and govt officers pages

• Anyone can start a page about a politician from any party, only information with verifiable source could be put here. Their educational background, etc can be put , this will act as a ready reference for young voters to find decent politicians.

Team pages

E-Swaraj managing team pages (people who will manage the project)

– List of top level members with their contact information and other details– List of moderators with their details and contact information. – For more details please see “how it will be managed PPT”

Rules and policies

• General rules and policies regarding the e-swaraj project.

– It will act as a guidelines for all members. Any moderation task will be undertaken after referring to the “section number” of the policies. Mentioned here.

– General rules like not swearing, abusing, foul langugae etc. Also other terms of use and policy that can be framed after taking expert help from the lawyers and judges of the civil society.

This Will be basically education portal.

After this education there will be many mini Kejriwals in the society! If one Kejriwal can do so much. Imagine what thousands would do?

– General citizen empowermentHow to register for a voter ID card etc. How to file RTI, how to expose someone with proofs n facts, how to keep yourself safe by providing information anonymously to e-swaraj cases section!

– How to become a one man “anti-corruption department” citizenHow to become a “self lawyer.” How to prepare “proof” how to record phone calls or use spy camera to become a one man -anti-corruption department.

– How to keep yourself safe, just put facts in public domain, on e-swaraj cases section. start cases etc upload documents and civil society will take the case ahead. You will be safe. And other such guides and information

– Anyone can contribute to the information here, but will try to keep information precise. There should be no repetitive information and only limit the information for quick reference. General explainations can be made in the “news and editorial section of e-swaraj”

– Inspirational people pages:• People who have done considerable amount of work or heroic deed, specifically relating to e-Swaraj or

cases section of the site.

– Corrupt politicians• A blacklist of politicians that a true countrymen should never vote for. The list will come here after a very

stringent criteria. For example, A Raja, Kalmadi, where we straight proofs to show they did corruption with intention

• A politician will be included in this list after a considerable amount of people vote to bring his name here.

– Corrupt govt officers• If you have read about an officer guilty of charges then he should be listed here, with latest update on

what punishment or punishment given to him.

More thoughts and suggestions?

• There may be something that I might have missed. Members can suggest add more categories of pages.

• But I would suggest that we should not include categories that are too broad.

• We should remember that e-swaraj is targeted for results. Only information relating or helping to get reforms and improvements in the system should be included.

• There are already many websites that include general information about freedom fighters etc.

• Please try to make the content, precise, we can hire copy editer volunteers/ moderators who are expert at this.
