stormwater green streetsA flooded street is not a complete street.
Green infrastructure such as rain gardens, bioswales and constructed wetlands help mitigate flood risk and increase regional water quality. Join us over food and refreshments while our design team presents conceptual plans to:
- Convey runoff from buildings and streets to green streets. - Reduce combined sewer overflows. - Improve the streetscape with co-benefits like noise attenuation, improved air quality, calmer traffic flow, and improved safety conditions.
Representatives from City of Pittsburgh, PWSA, and City Councilperson Erika Strassburger will also be available to take your questions, comments and concerns. Join us and provide input to improve your neighborhood.
