Online Textbooks• Many textbooks that are currently adopted have an

online component

• Teachers and students are accessing online materials including textbooks, ancillary materials and tutorials when available

• Textbook representative stated, “ The market place is drastically changing and the textbook companies are feeling the pressures and more textbook availability is on the way.”

• College Board has adopted new textbook rules due to the changing environment.

• Many resources online for teachers to enhance the textbooks.

Teachers continue to see the benefits for themselves and students

When the focus group got together the conversation quickly turned to the hows and the wows!

Student communication is greatly improvedDistraction was an issue early on but has since

become less of one as the students realized what a valuable tool this was.
