Digital inclusion…why’s it important?• Enables individuals to get information online, increasing their
ability to self-care and reducing pressure on frontline services.• Reduces inequalities by opening up access to information and
services to all• Offers more choice and convenience to people on their terms• Digital services can be a better experience • Cuts healthcare costs by steering patients towards more
economical digital alternatives • Helps people to find work and education opportunities as well as
overcoming loneliness and isolation

The impact…
• Over 220 in-depth case studies of people who were support with managing and improving their health conditions – diabetes, dementia, anxiety.
• Increased use of online digital services• The hub is now thriving community space • A legacy network of 22 digital champions (a
successful inter-generational model)• NHS Digital will roll out 6 further hubs
