Offline analysis using MATLAB of an SDT.WSP.DM stream captured using the Digital IF Vector Analyzer.Source signal is a 1 MHz chirp frequency hopping in a 125 MHz band. A single hop dwell is isolated in the spectral plot.

• The Digital IF Vector Analyzer workstation uses a low-level raw packet interfacebetween the software and the real-time data capture card to support continuous SDTtraffic monitoring. Packet filtering on the data capture card is used when possible tooffload processing for the workstation CPU.

• For SDT Digital IF packets, payload samples from multiple packets are merged tocreate a continuous Digital IF stream. The merged payload samples are collected inan array and saved to a .mat file or .npy file for offline analysis using MATLABor Python/Numpy environments. Also included in the files are arrays containing RTPand VITA-49 header field values from each packet. This capture capability operates ina burst mode only. Tens-of-thousands of packets, containing millions of Digital IFsamples, may be captured sequentially without packet loss in this mode.

• DIVA is a 1 RU rackmount computer operated from a web browser user interface
