SME’s in Capacities

• Research for the Benefit of SME’s

• Research for SME associationsSupport to development of technological solutions of challenges common

for a great number of SMEs (e.g. adjustments to norms/standards, market challenges etc.)

- IPR to be owned by the SME associations

- Project budget 1.5 – 4 M€

- EU grant up to 75 %

- Duration 2 – 3 years

- Participants 5 – 20 (at least 3 SME associations from three countries + at least 2 RTD performers + at least 2 SMEs)

One call, REGIONS-2011, targeting the transnational cooperation of

regional research driven clusters

- for a total of 18,66 M €

Consortia of at least 3 regional research-driven clusters from 3

different Member States or Associated countries

• Possible representation by one member - under conditions

• Compulsory description of the full clusters and their triple helix

structure

Coordinator : either a regional authority or a fully fledged RDC (with legal

entity)

Funding scheme: CSA –CA (coordinating action)

Duration: up to 36 months

– the JAP being finalized during the first half of the project

Community contribution: up to 3 M €

(research business with foreign institutions and firms) – future economical benefits
