what is the difference between confidence and overconfidence?

i think that "i can do it" that is my confidence but" only i can do it" that is my overconfidence since i underestimate the others. when your ego comes into confidence, your confidence turns into overconfidence.

well, working in nights is also a part of my job. So i'm okay with any time to work on

what is the difference between hard work and smart work?

smart work means doing the work in an easy way using logic's to do it.

hard work is where you have to make more efforts on the work which you do

yes, i can work under pressure. pressure keeps me motivated and it brings out the best in me.

generally i don't get angry easily but whenever i am, i take long breathe and think that what will be the impact of my anger to that situation. That feeling helps to control my anger

well, as long as my skills, ideas and hard work help in achieving the organization's goals, and the organization in return appreciate my work and helps me in my career growth and provides me good working environment

according to me none are over qualified for any kind of position. instead they can learn much more things and makes them to move forward

i don't see them as many jobs, i see them as many steps that i have climbed up and standing potentially in front of you with all those stepping experiences

yes, when we are criticized only we achieve success, mistakes make human to learn perfectly and will change to improve ourselves. no humans are perfect, everyone learns from mistakes. if someone criticized we have to be positive .

could you have done better in your last job?

yes, i have performed well in all the fields to the best of my efforts and fulfill the expectation of the company. and yes there is always a room for the improvement which i'm working on it to be even more better for the job satisfaction and the company as well.

According to me a job which you are not getting any experience and not developing your skills and personalities only earn some money, this type is boring and nothing for your career

yes, you can contact them, but not right now. if once i'm selected in your company, after that you have to contact them, because they are not aware of my job search.

i think life is a challenge itself, i have faced so many problems in my life, but the point is how to overcome them and achieve your goals.

have you been absent from work more than a few days in any previous position?

if due to health ,functions, family reasons , i kept leaves. after coming back to my company, i cleared my work with accuracy

what changes would you make if you came on board?

first of all i would like to say that i would not change anything but i would add something additional to the ongoing project so that there will be delay in the project.

at the same time i would like to bring changes in the organization. first i will study the company goals, regulation, environment and the process. if there is any changes needed, i will take ideas from the experienced persons for effective results which will satisfy the current needs and make the organization running.

what would you say to your boss if he is crazy about an idea, but you think it stinks?

i would listen carefully to his idea and make him feel respected and then i will present my own idea and then allow him to make the final decision as he is in charge for the implementation

there is only 2 keys of successful life. first positive attitude and trust yourself, second to hard work and dedication towards your goal and believe that the result will come soon or later.

Strong point: he is good in commanding and following up on company objective

weak point: he is not able to accept staff opinion and he thinks that he know everything

looking back on your last position, have you done your best work?

i have done my best work in my previous position. even whatever i'm today that result of my past hard work, i have improved myself alot by doing hard work and that experience will inspire me alot to do well in future.

Ms. Colleen, you are not only hiring employee from outside, you are hiring new ideas, new talent, innovation.

how do you feel about reporting to a younger boss?

i will feel normal to report to a younger boss. knowledge is the only thing which matters to me.

i would not change anything because all i faced in the past whether success or failure create the person who i am right now and which im proud of

why aren't you earning more money at this stage of your career?

earning money is not a big deal, we can do it by many ways but getting talented in career is more important for me. first we should get knowledge and experience then money automatically follows

first i would like to thank my previous job. i have learned how to work under pressure with confidence and team work

Position Overview:

The Overseas Petroleum Engineer/Analyst position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Radnor, PA.  This role will operate within our New Products Development Team; as a member of this cross-functional group you will work closely with team members across the organization as well as directly with our customers.

Job Responsibilities: 

         Use data analytics platform to study geological formations and analyze hydraulic fracturing and completion performance to determine best practices.

         With minimal supervision, build well design proposals utilizing Preferred’s technology products.

         Meet with prospective and existing customers to promote Preferred’s products

         Draft technical reports for technical and nontechnical personnel evaluating the performance of Preferred’s products.

         Follow company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies

 

Qualifications:

The selected candidate must be fluent in English and is have one of the two following qualifications

         BSc degree in petroleum engineering with 1 – 5 yrs of experience in well stimulation 

         MSc degree in petroleum engineering with advanced academic studies on unconventional hydrocarbon reservoirs

The selected candidate must have the following skills and qualifications 

         Broad knowledge in drilling, completions, and reservoir stimulation technologies

         Advanced knowledge and solid expertise in hydraulic fracturing

         Ability to analyze large data sets and statistics to make conclusions

         Ability to effectively use the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of petroleum engineering; continue development of technical expertise and knowledge through experience and application

         Excellent communication skills and strong strategic analytical problem-solving skills (creative, critical, and open-minded) 

         Strong curiosity and interest to explore and develop in new technology area 

         Ability to work with minimal supervision and in cross-functional teams to achieve a project plan 

         Passion for science & technology, especially in unconventional oil and gas technologies

         Flexible team player with ability to work with wide range of technical teams and projects

Preferred qualifications 

         Experience in unconventional hydrocarbon plays

         Work experience with a technology company and/or a well service provider
