IMF: no sign of house price fall

• UK is going through an acute housing crisis and demand for new homes will keep growing and growing, pushing prices higher and higher. John Prescott (Deputy Prime

Minister and First Secretary of State announced recently plans for 1.4 million new homes by 2016 around Milton Keynes, Cambridge and Thames corridor.

The planning panel of the East of England Regional Assembly gave the go-ahead to proposals for 478,000 extra homes. The aim is to build them in a corridor between Stansted in Essex and Peterborough over the next 17 years.”
