Why HPCL over IOCL? # top reasons: a. For FY ended 31.3.2015, HPCL has registered an increase in its Profit after Tax by over 57.5% compared to its profit for FY ending 31.3.2014. On the contrary, IOCL has registered a fall by nearly 25% in PAT for FY 31.3.2015 compared to previous year. b. Even though turnover of both IOCL as well as HPCL has fallen in 2014-15 compared to FY 2013- 14, fall in the income of HPCL is marginally lower in comparison to that for IOCL. c. HPCL has declared a dividend of Rs 24.50 per share i.e. 245% as against dividend per share of rs 6.60 (i.e. 66%) by IOCL d.
