Start your child's education with D38

A genuine love of early childhood education radiates in each of our staff members,

providing your child with a supportive, nurturing foundation to an exceptional

educational career.

The Lewis-Palmer School District 38 Early Childhood Program consists of small and large

group activities which facilitate development in language, fine and gross

motor skills, reading and math concepts, and social skills. Preschool teachers coordinate each

day's activities to ensure all areas of development are covered. There is a balance of child and teacher directed activities each day.

The program encourages children to plan and

carry out his/her own activities. The curriculum focus changes on a weekly basis,

offering children variety in their play time. Play is a viable part of the program as it

promotes problem solving skills, social interaction, and increases cognitive growth.

Closely communicating with families is an

integral part of our preschool program.
