*There is a $50 installation fee per device. Additional wiring charges and other expenses may apply. Contact FTC for details.

Cover your whole home: Your state-of-the-art wireless router features a Wi-Fi gateway with enough signal strength to accommodate most homes of average size (approximately 1,500 square feet), but multilevel homes and larger homes sometimes need a boost to provide the signal strength needed to cover the entire home.

Eliminate dead zones: Certain building materials such as brick, stucco, metal beams, and even fireplaces and refrigerators can create “dead zones” in your home.

Combat interference: Cordless telephones, baby monitors, microwaves and other electronic devices can interfere with the Wi-Fi gateway signal.

Boost exterior signal: Mesh Wi-Fi Satellites can only be installed on the interior of your home; however, the placement of Mesh Wi-Fi Satellites can often extend the signal to outdoor areas such as your patio or deck.

Place the wireless router in a central location with the highest Wi-Fi use.

Keep in mind that the fewer the barriers between your device and the router, the

stronger the signal.

Some household items can generate interference with your Wi-Fi signal,

including microwave ovens, wireless speakers, baby monitors or any other

wireless devices.

Don’t place the Mesh Wi-Fi Satellite near building materials and structures that block Wi-Fi signals, including metal, in-floor heating systems, stucco and

reinforced concrete. Also, avoid items such as a metal cabinet, brick fireplace or

refrigerator.

Set up password protection for your Wi-Fi. This ensures that only those you approve

have access.

Age of devices: Older devices may not have the capacity needed to keep up with newer Wi-Fi technology. So while your Wi-Fi is up-to-speed, your older

devices may still be slow.

Number of devices: Your Wi-Fi signal is shared among all connected devices. The more devices you have using your Wi-Fi,

the slower the speed to each device.

Choose a central location or a spot near the most bandwidth-demanding area.

Position the Mesh Wi-Fi Satellite far enough away from the wireless router

that the boosted signal reaches the desired areas. However, avoid placing the Mesh Wi-Fi Satellite so far away from the

wireless router that performance declines.
