GROUP: Sunday mornings at 10am,
room, D-30 (above sanctuary foyer),
starts today! Read through the NT in
one year by asking God each day,
"Lord, what do you want to teach me
today?" Then, on Sundays share

with you. All ages welcome to join
any time! Led by Kim Palmer.

KENYAN QUILTS
Calling all Quilters and Sewers!
Please come and help cut fabric for
the quilts being sent to Kenya for
Steven and Carol Lentoror's ministry
to the elderly homeless. We will be
meeting upstairs in the Genesis
room, C 29, at 1 o'clock this Sunday,
May 1st. For information call Callie
Winters at 562-761-7820. More in-
formation to come on sewing days!
Mark your calendars, the next meeting for Granada Missionary Fellow-
ship is May 10th. The featured speaker will be our own Rudi Wiens,
who works at FEBC (Far East Broadcasting). Aside from bringing news
as to what he is doing there, Rudi has agreed to bring his guitar and
sing for us, which is always a special treat. By the way, did you know
that the main office for FEBC is located right here in La Mirada on Impe-
rial Hwy., just west of La Mirada?
If you are crafty or on the market for a new hobby, come early for spe-
cial projects at 9:30am. Otherwise, if you are only coming for the lunch-
eon and Rudi, be sure to be there and seated by 11:25am. If you are
not a regular attender, please let us know by calling Marty Myers at
(714) 992-1777. Lunch is $5.
In our last meeting, Geoff and Sue Russell took us through what all Bible
Translation entails and their desire to continue to serve through
Wycliffe. The group did a little role-playing to help us understand the
process. Very informative! So, please join us at our next gathering on
Tuesday, May 10th
.
