Nicknames:Dave Becks Golden Balls DB7- He was being called this nickname after his car Aston Martin DB7.

What club, team or country does he/she play for?

David was the captain of the English national team from 2000 to 2006. He played for clubs in Manchester United, England and Madrid, Spain. He scored in three different FIFA World Cups and agreed to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy team on a five-year contract starting from July 1, 2007. He was also participating in London's bid for the 2012 Olympic Game’s. He took a place in a training session at FC Barcelona as a child and in 1986 he was a Manchester United's mascot for a match against West Ham United. He made about 400 appearances from 1992 to 2003 for Manchester United and he scored 85 goals in all!

Thirty-two year old David Beckham is the son of Ted Beckham, a kitten fitter and a hairdresser. David was born on May 2, 1975, in Leytonstone, London, England, UK. He is married to Victoria Caroline Beckham. She was born on April 17, 1974 and is a songwriter, singer, and a fashion designer. She was a member of the band “Spice Girls.” David and Victoria have three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz Beckham. David has been playing since he was 17 years old in 1992 for Manchester United. He plays midfield for Manchester, England, and Madrid, Spain.

His field vision is outstanding, and Beckham’s talent has been his guide from his right hand side as well as his

skillful free kicks.

To be honest, I don’t really know so much football players. The first one I knew was David Beckham. I heard he is very popular since he has been playing in so many teams, so I thought I would look him up on the Internet. This is what I found out:

Why have you chosen to dedicate your life to football?I want to ask him this question because I am wondering why he is playing for so long from the age of 17 to right now at the age of 32.When you decide you want to stop playing football what do you want to do as a second career job?I want to ask him this question because when he gets older and is too tired to play what is he going to do with the rest of his life?Do you think that you are a good role model for kids out there who want to be just like you when they want to grow up?I want to ask him this question because there are so many kids who want to be football players and I want to know if he knows how to be a good example for them.

Fun Information!While he was playing for Madrid he was not allowed to wear his favorite number 7 because another person had the right to wear it according to his contract, so he had to wear the number 23 instead.
