Terry’s public relations and business prowess have been paramount in creating strategic partnerships with AOL, the Dallas Morning News, CBS, NBC, and ABC. His relatable rapport has led to successful handling of celebrities including J. Anthony Brown (Tom Joyner Morning Show), Rockmond Dunbar (Soul Food), Susan Taylor, and Iyanla Vanzant. Allen’s philanthropic resolve has bolstered his expertise in countless organizations and causes. He has embraced the Dallas community at large with a vast array of programs and support for various youth, small business, and entrepreneurial initiatives. Serves as Texas event manager for the Real Men Cook, the largest urban Father's Day Celebration in the USA. Real Men Cook is the Flagship event for Real Men Charities, Inc. and has raised over $150,000 for non-profits through its ticket grant program.

As Business and Development Director, Terry generated national press in 2005, 2006, and 2012 for the Business Assistance Center, Inc.

Terry is also CEO of a business trio focused on event management, celebrity procurement, and sponsorship development.

He has written several school curriculums, including Rites of Passage for Young Female; 12 Step Program for Parenting; and T.U.P.A.C (Teaching Underserved Populations Achievement and Control) Series 1-7, a urban achievers curriculum. He has been an educational consultant to over 15 Texas school districts including Plano, Richardson, Dallas, and Houston, Stephenville, and El Paso, as well as in Oakland, CA.

He developed and created the first successful citywide town hall on re-entry (N.I.M.B.Y. - Not In My Backyard) and economic development camp for formerly incarcerated individuals called P.O.W.E.R. (Preparing Our Workforce with Empowered Re-entry) in Dallas which featured with Chef Jeff Henderson by QSR Magazine, the mainstream national food industry magazine.

One of the co-authors of the best-selling Simon and Schuster book, Real Men Cook: Rites, Rituals, and Recipes for Living.
