We are supporting IKEAs growth with precise, low costing and flexible handling and storing solutions through the whole Supply Chain.
To strengthen our team we are looking for a
Logistics Specialist (m/f)Fulltime (167h), based in Dortmund
Our tasks are:• the further development and optimisation of IKEAs handling and storage concept• to secure and control the establishment process for IKEA´s logistic units worldwide• develop the layout and design for logistic units including needed capacity and performance calculations• selection of appropriate material flow systems and material handling equipment • support local establishment projects worldwide • drive technical tender processes• execute milestone controls and performance tests in technical orientated projects
YOU are our candidate if you have:• preferably a technical engineer´s background• strong technical background in the area of planning logistic units • deep understanding of material flow systems and material handling equipment• strong analytical capabilities
Furthermore we expect:• basic IT understanding • ability to work with AutoCAD• ability in solving tasks of high complexity, able to think globally• ability to take initiative and own decisions• team orientation• open minded and communicative personality • fluent English language knowledge (written and spoken)• willingness to learn German• interest and possibility to travel (world wide)
Knowledge about handling and storage processes and warehouse management systems are an advantage but not mandatory.
Additional Information:Handicapped persons with equal qualification will be preferred.The salary is based on Tarifvertrag Groß- und Außenhandel Nordrhein-Westfalen, Gehaltsgruppe VI a.
