The Whiteface Mtn trail which ascends nearly 3,700 feet and traverses 5.2 mile from the trailhead tothe summit of the mountain. Esther Mountain can be summited via a 1.2-mile unmarked herd paththat ascends 350 feet from the Wilmington Ridge Trail. The path leaves the trail near LookoutMountain, approximately 4.0 miles and 2,700 feet above the Wilmington Reservoir Trailhead.
