Create a French café called 'Le Quatre'When Freddie Four visits France he visits a cafe called 'Le Quatre'.Everything at the cafe is served in sets of four. Pupils can make their own menus by drawing picturesof the different foods. Pupils can take turns at being the being the chef, the waiter/ess and thecustomers.

French Games and Toys

PétanqueA traditional French game. The goal is to toss or roll hollowsteel balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball calleda cochonnet (literally "piglet") or jack.

You could always play with bean bags or similar.

French KnittingA form of knitting that uses a spool and a number of nails to produce anarrow tube of fabric. Spool knitting is a traditional way to teach childrenthe basic principles of knitting.
