Who should or should not be the Access Manager? Michelle B. Catucci School Counseling DepartmentChairperson, Cheshire High SchoolCSCA Executive Director

• Determining who should have the role of Access Manager will vary by school/district.

• Some questions to consider when determining who should be an Access Manager:

• How many people do you want to be able to grant other peopleaccess to the K‒12 Portal?

• Do you want only a few people to have control over granting accessto members of your faculty?

• Do you want all of your department heads to be able to give accessto individual teachers in their department?

• Also determine how different tasks will be divided up: • Who will be granting access to members of the faculty? • How will those requests be made? • Who will be checking expiration dates for staff and making updates to

the list of people with access to reports?
