Youth Basketball League Winter
2020Season Information:
The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active. The benefits are far greater than just physical health. In this youth basketball DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE, youth are able to gain confidence and build positive relationships that lead to sportsmanship and teamwork.
Practices begin the week of March 28th and are held on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings for all ages other than 6U. The 6U practices are held directly before their games on Saturday mornings.
Games start on February 1st and go in order of ages from youngest to oldest starting at 8am. Coaches will call with schedules before the first week of practice. All games are held at the Westside YMCA. You may request to play with another player. The YMCA does try to accommodate requests, but there are no guarantees. Recreational teams must seek approval from the Sports Coordinator to participate. Outside Team must be school sponsored or licensed non-profit.
