When You Should Consider Hiring a Business Coach

Mid last year I had just completed a phenomenal online business program that had me up to my ears in brilliant new

ideas for how to market and grow my business.

There was just one stumbling block. I lacked a defined signature system that I could market to my niche.

Up until this point I had been a marketing consultant for many years and I offered a bespoke, tailored approach for

each and every one of my clients and had believed that was the best and only way to market myself.

But I has now been exposed to a new and hugely valuable concept – providing prospective clients with a proven, step

by step system that you could take them through to deliver a desired result was more attractive.

Of course, individualised attention could take place within this framework, but the framework itself needed to be

intact.

Righto, I thought, I can do this, after all, I’ve been creating marketing plans for years, I’ll just document the steps

involved.

That’s when I came unstuck and the value of investing in a business coach became obvious.

Why did I get unstuck? Because I found it very hard

to see the spot I was standing on – what was the unique spark that I brought to my

clients? What were the differentiators that made what I do work so well for

them?

My search for a Business Coach and the six months I spent working with her was one of the best investments I have

made in myself and my business. Shawn was not inside my business and thus, had a fresh

perspective that made all the difference. She could ask the questions, connect the dots, see the connections and make

the suggestions that made the process of developing my own signature system

so much quicker and easier.

In act we nailed it in 3 or 4 sessions – I just kept working with her as there were so many other breakthroughs and

improvements we also created together!
