How the inspector know if PMA Admin deny a report and which are the corrections?

The system will sent an email to the Inspector’s Pele-Marine Email with the comments of the corrections that the inspector need to make. Another way to verify the comments provided by the PMA Admins is in the Action History, please go to the next slide.

How the inspector know if PMA Admin deny a report and which are the corrections?

As mentioned in the previous slide, in the Action History, locate the row where the status is Report Denied and in the column called Detail Description will see a link “Comment” and you will see the information provided by PMA Admins about the correction the inspector need to make.

How the inspector start the procedure of Report Corrections?

When the inspector see the status of the inspection “Report Denied” in the action Column going to be activated the icon . This icon will start the procedure. Another way to start the procedure is in the Action History, the inspector will search the row of the report denied status and at the right side will see this icon any of the two icons will work.

After the inspector press any of those icons, in the next slid will see the screen that will appear in the computer.

After the inspector see this image, will press the Right Arrow to proceed with the General Form.

If the inspector needs to fill or modify the information in the General Form, they will have the ability by erasing and typing the correct information.

When the inspector finish press the right arrow and the next screen is the Certificate List.

In case the inspector need to add a certificate, only need to select from the drop down menu.

After selecting the certificate, the inspector will see this screen

The inspector will fill the correct information and press the left arrow to return to the certificate list.

In case need to modify, the inspector need to eliminate by pressing the red X and select the same certificate and fill it with the correct information.

After you finish modifying and adding all the certificate press the right arrow. For the next three screen will see the Passenger, Tanker and Mobile Offshore. If the vessel apply for one of these three questionnaires the inspector will activate them or deactivate them if not apply.

To activate only need to check the Include this form in the report and answer the questions, if not apply don’t check it. If is checked and need to deactivate only need to take off the check.

After the 3 questionnaires the inspector will see the Deficiency List, that is like the certificate the inspector will select the number of the deficiency and fill as they fill in the tablet. They will upload the picture, select the type, name and law of the deficiency and at the end press the left arrow to select another deficiency number. When the inspector finish press the right arrow to go to End of Inspection.

Fill the information of the End of Inspection and press Click Here To Finish The Report.

Wait until the report is sent and the system will show the status of the inspection as Agent task Done again. The system will notify PMA Admins so they can review it again and Approve the Report.
