At our schoolAt our schoolWhen Nature is in bloom and the sap begins to flow all around our school buildings, it is time to celebrate the arrival of spring as well as this season’s Equinox.

Our school was among many others which took part in Spring Day in Europe 2006.

Air, Fire, Earth, Air, Fire, Earth, WaterWaterThese events were organized according

to the four elements.

They comprised conferences, workshops, the launching of “waterworks”, astronomical observations, and the building of an ant-hill and a fish tank.

Several students embellished our gardens with new trees, namely a sequoia and two gingko bilobas.

For the first time our school logo was “painted” on the wet earth with aromatic plants.

Several improvised druids and Celtic goddesses brought Ostara ceremonies to our common room as hymns to the budding Nature.

CelebratingCelebrating EasterEasterLater, the whole

community was invited to taste different scents and flavours of teas.

This was a memorable day which enhanced the love of Nature as a means of keeping a balanced relationship between men and the magnificent wilderness.Maybe we did not know

much about the Celts before but we all got to know that Easter got its name from a goddess of spring and the dawn whose name was spelled Oestre or Eastre. It also lent us its most tender bunnies and colourful eggs.
