The “All-Rounders” from Lake Constance. The DNA of our company's success.

In 1925, Kramer launched its first agricultural machine, a 4 hp grass mower, onto the market. From then on, the company never looked back. The Kramer brothers revolutionised agriculture with their tractors.

Whether ploughing, harrowing or mowing, Kramer tractors met each challenge in everyday agricultural life, because both of the brothers knew the needs of farmers from their own experience. This knowledge has always been incorporated into the development of the tractor. This led to the machines soon being approvingly called “all-rounders” by those who used them.

Expansion and strong yearsThe success of the tractor made a rapid expansion in production necessary in the 1930s. A new piece of property was purchased in Überlingen on Lake Constance.

Kramer quickly conquered the German tractor market. With practical developments, milestones were set in agricultural machine technology. The production consisted of tractors in all horsepower classes to all special types and unusual individual pieces and particularly scored points through a sophisticated all-wheel technology. Parallel to this, construction machines have been developed since the mid-1950s.

1925

1935

The oil crisis led us into a redirection. The year 1973, the year of the great oil crisis, was the end for the tractor business.Kramer from now on focused on all-wheel controlled compact equipment, continued to grow and moved in 2008 to a new plant in Pfullendorf, now belonging to the Wacker Neuson Group.

One thing has stayed the same to this day.We have always clearly focused on the needs of our customers with each development. For only in this way, can all-wheel controlled machines be built that prove themselves in any situation in hard everyday work and create real added value. We have done this from the beginning – and it will remain so in the future.

The core of the loaders. The principle of success.

Kramer loaders convince by their steadiness thanks to our proven one-piece frames.

Due to the all-wheel steering, there is no shif t in the point of gravity whatsoever. This is why there is a high degree of safety, even when making tight turns, on uneven terrain, and at maximum load capacity.

Constant leverage for constant loading capacity

321Three steering types for performance from the best position:

1 The all-wheel steering by Kramer: Full manoeuvrability and power on tightest space.

2 Front-axle steering: Tractor feeling and total safety.

3 Crab steering: The precision steering for restricted space situations.

STACKER PRINCIPLEOne-piece frame and all-wheel steering:

• Excellent stability because the centre of gravity is not changed by steering motions

• Perfect manoeuvrability by virtue of the all-wheel steering

• Constantly high load capacity even when negotiating bends

• Easy on delicate surfaces thanks to tracking wheels and the low operating weight

• Shorter driving and cycle times owing to the wide steering angle

• Familiar driving behaviour and safe driving on roads with optimal front-axle steering

Hydraulic rapid release system and loading equipment with parallel guidance:• Rapid change of attachments within seconds

• Four large bolts in an area protected from dirt provide a high loading capacity

• Safe tipping turnover by means of optimised bucket geometry

• Simple and safe handling owing to optimal visibility of the attachment and work area

Made for routine.Equipped for special tasks.

By means of the load equipment with parallel guidance, the lifting power and load are always under control. Owing to high tip back angle and tipping angle, no material will be lost even with a full bucket. Tipping is made easy and full discharge is ensured.

The Kramer machines can be adjusted rapidly to suit the most diverse tasks with a wide range of attachments. This is why the loader can become the most versatile machine on the farm.

The Kramer

quick releases: ALWAYS IN

RECORD TIME

The parallel guidance of the loading equipment keeps the load in perfect balance both in bucket as well as forklift operation.

Simply drive up to the attachment, pick it up hydraulically from the seat, lock and unlock it by pushing the lever.

The Kramer load stabiliser ensures safe and comfortable driving behaviour.

By virtue of the box-type design of the loading equipment, very good visibility is assured. The optimised Z-kinematics guarantees an exact parallel guidance of the stacking device.

Safe and efficient material turnover with telehandlers by use of the Smart Handling driver-assistance system.

The Kramer Ecospeed drive:

The ideal translation of today’s requirements into practice:

• EC tractor standard for unlimited use on European roads

• Stepless from 0 to 40 km/h

• Minimum fuel consumption

• Low noise emission

Driven as proven.Safely on the road.

Ecospeed is a stepless hydrostatic fast gear developed by Kramer. It serves for both maximum efficiency as well as the best possible environmental compatibility.

Ecospeed “gets the idea” and optimises the interaction of driving performance, drag force, consumption of emission values. Ecospeed therefore provides quick and direct acceleration, as well as smooth and gentle changes of direction. This ensures high levels of performance whilst simultaneously sparing resources.

A big plus for uses that are loading and unloading: a gain in comfort and time that pays off right from the start.

The trailer coupling makes the loader a perfect tractor. With a tractor license, use on public roads is possible:

- Up to 14 tons trailer load*

- Attachments, machines and material can be transported while saving costs.

- Clearly lower overall costs than with an engine (vehicle liability insurance or taxes); the additional costs for the trailer coupling recouped within a very short time.

Optimised drag force, minimised consumption and reduced work noise: the stepless Ecospeed drive combines high economic potential and ecological qualities.

Kramer Wheel Loaders.The multi-functional “all-rounders” of a new age.

One for everything.

The fact that a Kramer wheel loader is virtually tailor-made for agriculture is its nature. Its compact dimensions, manoeuvrability and stability make it the ideal “workhorse” on the farm.

In addition, the right attachment can be connected for every job, even attachments from our older series.

“Stands out - doesn't tip over”

Thanks to the proven one-piece chassis, Kramer wheel loaders have outstanding stability at all times.

With more safety and constant payload, irrespective of any steering movements.

Firm arguments: Safety and time savings through a one-piece frame and all-wheel steering for greater stability and manoeuvrability.

Driving pleasure without limits: Thanks to the EC tractor approval, on the roads with a load or trailer. Without any additional red tape.

Simply work faster: Thanks to the hydraulic quick-change system and parallel-controlled loading system.
