When God is Glorified…

• Good men are troubled in soul

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though

something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his

glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer

or as a meddler. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him

glorify God in that name.

When God is Glorified…

• Judgment will be manifest

You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every

healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a

diseased tree bear good fruit. (Matthew 7:16-18 ESV)

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light

because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the

light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly

seen that his works have been carried out in God.” (John 3:19-21 ESV)

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

• Courage• Strength• Peace• And sacrifice

People are turned away by…

• Weakness• Apathy• Tolerance

While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” (John 12:36 ESV)
