The project incorporates a variety of technologies into the science curriculum. Students work cooperatively as well as individually to use online and other resources to learn more about a key animal in the Everglades. Each student team develops a PowerPoint presentation to share its findings. Students also have the opportunity to learn more about their animals and their scientific roles by interacting with Everglades wildlife researchers during a real-time videoconference.
