GOOD NEWSCLUB
Good News Club is a fun hour of stories, songs, and games,sponsored by CEF, which teaches boys and girls lessons from theBible. Children learn character, respect, and moral values.
Who can come?Anyone in full-day Kindergarten, 1 st Grade, or 2nd Grade can
attend regardless of religious background.
When and Where is it held?Good News Clubs are held weekty for every elementary school
in Franklin and Fulton counties in locations off of school property.Day and times are set by school administration. Clubs may run inthe fall and spring but do not meet on days with delays.
Who teaches the club?
Specially trained volunteers teach the clubs, and all club volunteers have been screenedaccording to the PA Child Protective Services Law to ensure your child’s safety. CEF SchoolBuses have passed the State Police safety inspection and are operated by drivers with aSchool Bus CDL. For more information about being a volunteer please contact CEF.
How do I sign my child up for club?
To enroll in Good News Club, Pennsylvania law requires parental permission. Pleasecomplete the form below and return it to your school’s office. Once enrolled, regularattendance by your child is expected unless you provide a written withdrawal note.
