4. Schutz vor Nässe und Kälte im WinterDas Außenmaterial sollte innen beschichtet sein. Diese Beschichtung verhindert das Ein-dringen von Schmutz und Nässe und das Vollsaugen des Handschuhs.

Die Heizung für den HandschuhDas Prinzip des Hotliner-Systems ist ganz einfach.

Im Handschuhfutter ist über dem Handrücken eine Tasche eingearbeitet. In diese Tasche schie-ben Sie das handliche Hotliner-Heizkissen. Dieses aus luftdurchlässigem Material gefertigte Kissen beinhaltet ein Gemisch aus Aktivkohle, Eisen und Wasser, das mit Sauerstoff reagiert und Wärme freisetzt. Da das Heater-Heizkissen vakuumverpackt ist, setzt der Wär-meeffekt mit dem Aufreißen der Ver-packung ein. Das Kissen heizt 6 – 8 Stunden bei einer Temperatur von 50° - 60° Celsius.

Die Hotliner-Tasche befindet sich, nur durch einen dünnen Stoff ge-trennt, dicht an der Hand, sodass die Wärme nach innen geleitet und durch das Futter nach außen isoliert wird. Besonders geeignet ist die-ses System auch für Personen mit Durchblutungsstörungen.

The glove lining above the back of the hand comes with a pocket. The hotliner-heat pack is inserted into this opening. This breathable insert consists of a mixture of active carbon, iron and water. The lat-ter elements react in contact with oxygen to produce warmth. Since the heat pack is vacuum-sealed once the plastic packaging is opened warmth production begins. The heat-producing insert emits heat for some 6-8 hours at an average temperature of 50°C to 60°C. Only thin materials separate the hand from the hotliner-pocket, so that heat is directed inward since the glove’s lining prevents heat loss to the outside. This heat-producing system is particularly of interest for people with circulation problems – hence, no more cold hands while shoveling snow.
