� Brick City is an exhibition of the LEGO® models shown inWarren Elsmore’s internationally acclaimed book of the same name. Marvel at the Arc de Triomphe, Buckingham Palace, the Trevi Fountain and famous events such as Macy's Day Parade, Rio Carnival and the London Olympics - all recreated in LEGO® (8 March - 21 April).

� New from 15 February Inside DNA - a fascinating exhibition all about you…your health, your identity and your ancestry.

� The region’s only 4D Motion Ride with moving seats, 3D action on screen and some extra surprises (be warned - you may get wet). For safety reasons you have to be at least 1.2 metres (4 feet) in height to use the Motion Ride.

� The North’s biggest planetarium.

� Live shows in the Science Theatre.

� Hands - on Curiosity Zone, where you can sculpt magnetic art, make music that lights up and create your own big machine with gears, cogs and pulleys.

� Young Explorers’ Zone for under 7s where they can discover, wonder and create in a safe and fun environment.

As we’re a charity, Science Centre tickets include avoluntary 10% donation which allows us to claim an extra 25p in every pound from the Government, providingthe donor is a UK tax payer. It’s called a Gift Aid visit and it makes a huge difference to charities like us. To enable us to reclaim your Gift Aid, you must be paying an amount of income or capital gains tax at leastequal to or greater than the amount of this donation.

If you want to opt out of the donation, admission charges to the Science Centre are: family £22.90, adult £7.40,child £5.40, concession £6.75.
